Hi, I’m Emin! I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of California. I come from a family of immigrants who escaped revolution for a better life for themselves and their future kids. I am the culmination of my parent’s sacrifice and love.

I was born with a congenital condition which is now stabilized due to amazing doctors and surgeons. This has given me a unique perspective on life. To summarize, it has shown me the importance of relationships, authenticity, meaning, resilience, and self-belief. I use my unique lived experience and extensive clinical experience and knowledge to help you live the life you want, regardless of what has happened to you.

Together, we focus on helping you navigate difficult life transitions and stages, taking into account your relationships, family system, culture and social backgrounds. I use a holistic lens, meaning I view you as whole person, not just an individual. I examine your environment, and external circumstances. This is because we are often self critical.

I am aware and cognizant of the broader social contexts and world we currently live in, and how those can factor into your current stressors and challenges. I accept you just as you are and hone in on your strengths and provide a space where you can think, be and feel in safety, devoid of judgement and shame. Together we make the therapy room what you want it to be.
